Picture here taken when Benji went back and drive his car out. Jon is patiently waiting and Pik Yee started calling :)
Eric looking forward to the outing. Poor guy carrying two bags.
Daniel and Pik Yee crack jokes while waiting.. A long wait.. haha.
Finally Benji (our beloved CG leader) arrived in style. I can't remember what is their conversation about. From the picture, it seems like they are ready for a fight :)
USO person in-charge giving us (most of us are first timers) briefing on what we should and shouldn't do during the outing. I only remembered one thing he said, which is "let the lord lead you on the talking and conversation with the homeless people".
Jireh unlimited CG members focusing to the leader's words. 100% concentration.
We are loading the mineral water, fried rice, biscuits and toilet rolls into the van for distribution.
Benji, Alex and USO leader chatting to a homeless person. From the picture it seems like we are picking a fight.
I can't take many of these pictures as I am afraid they will get offended. Our intention for the outing is to help and talk to them. Hence when we are doing the actual work, I kept my camera in the bag.
Some of us standing against the van especially the girls in this picture because there is a drunk homeless person at the other side. For safety purpose, the girls were told to stay close to the van.
Our contributors of the USO outing, Mr plastic bag man (Jon) and Benji.
Contributors from Jireh Unlimited, from left to right. Eric, Phooi Theng, Pik Yee, Jon, Benji, Damien (myself) and Alex.
Benji likes this picture of him. Snapped after we completed out task near Komtar. He said want to put this on facebook. Let me see whether the hands behind can be erased :)
A candid shot and just fast enough to catch Eric yawn. It is ~2am. Everyone was tired and sleepy after the outing. But I am sure everyone was glad that we did something good and contributed to the community. I am glad and I am proud to be a member of Jireh Unlimited CG.
