Christmas Harvest 2008 - I'll Be Home for Christmas Photos

What is a gathering without food? We have plenty of it. Fried rice, baked pumpkin, sandwiches, chicken curry, cakes, popiah, mashed potatoes, fried chicken and many more. Thanks for all the Jireh and Zion CG members for bring them.

But, Christmas is not about Santa, more importantly it is a birthday of Jesus, our savior, the son of god, the most high, king of king, lord of lord, alpha and omega... the list goes on. We gather to celebrate His birthday.

Benji invites us to grab our food from kitchen. While EuGene busy looking at his fingers and wondering, is it dirty? Shall I wash it? :)

EPCC caroling team. Powerful, awakening and spectacular performance. Too bad I can't record it and post it here. One of the best I ever heard. By the way, I attended church in Ipoh, KL and now Penang EPCC church, so the you can take my word for it.

Little exercising day

Here some photos taken last Sunday after a mini "Exercise Day" in one of the MNC in Penang.

Winnie Teng - another pianist for Jireh Unlimited

What a wonderful CG session we had last Friday as we have new pianist for the CG and it's truly a blessing.

She is good and very focus, definately had a good preparation for the CG.

Praise the Lord! Jason Nga recently being admitted to hospital due to chest pain. We are glad to see him back here together fellowshipping. He has also decided to take a very stern action to control his food intake.

This is during Word time. Alex, the theologian checking facts from the Holy Book. Benji separated the CG into 3 groups; each group got to prepare 2 questions for the others to answer. I would say all those questions being asked were tough. One must know the meaning of the verses in the study before able to answer it...if you are lucky, you may able to answer 50% of it. How I wish we could have a time machine and get back to Jesus time and see the exact situation and ask some questions to Jesus and His gang.

Ended the CG with a beautiful song....everybody had a recharged night and looking forward for weekend and Sunday.

CG Group Photos Session

Here's some photos taken last week for church collection and also for the EPCC web. Jireh Unlimited was the 1st group to have the CG photos taken on that day. There are a lot more CG waiting for their turn.

Not everyone was there for photo shooting on that day; and we will think for another round of photo session soon. The theme for photo shooting was "jeans & casual". Overall, JU CG members can pose very well and are qualified models.

I like this photo very much. Want to guess why? Hahaha...just look at the photo. You can check how many pair of legs were there and how many faces can be seen clearly (someone is missing).

BBQ Outing - From Pantai Keracut to Benji's Home

Initial plan was to have BBQ at Pantai Keracut...mana tau around 5.45am Saturday morning I got an SMS from WinnieT that EG is down with food poisoning. I was totally went blank as I knew that there are a few of our CG member cannot make it already, After 15min, I got a call from Benji for the similar update about EG. It's 6am in the morning and it's pretty hard to think for a plan B - the only thing that I care about is the 28++pcs chicken wings in the fridge that I have marinated since Thursday night. So, the plan changed from Plan A --> Plan B, BBQ in Benji's place and I think it's a good plan as this will allow most of our CG members to come for lunch as it is nearby to offices and home.

At 8am, everyone gathered at Benji's place and someone already start to talk where to have breakfast. Tanya sini and tanya sana...everyone not sure what to have for breakfast. Ten..ten..ten...Grace suggested we got to town nearby Beach St for famous morning breakfast. Suprisingly that same morning, a few of us got stomach upset too, not sure what happened.
